Vintage watch - "Wave / Vostok" in perfect condition.
The mechanism serviced by watchmaker and works good.
Made in first quarter 1960 by Chistopol Watch Factory, USSR.

The mechanism was copied from the Swiss "Omega" watch.
Well known for collectors the watch Волна(Wave) Vostok Precision watches. It was made in a time when watchmakers around the world were competing in various categories, such as thinnest movement, most complications and timekeeping precision. The 2809 movement with 22 jewels competed in the precision class and was to my knowledge the only chronometer classed watch movement made in Russia.
Please note - mechanical watches run without batteries, watches use mechanical mechanism to measure the passage of time.
